By now, I am sure that everyone is aware of the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus in Asia. The situation is definitely threatening us in Hong Kong and the Diocese has issued a series of pastoral guidelines in response to the threat. The instructions took effect this past weekend.
I took a few pictures during Mass on Sunday. Faithful, including the clergy, are encouraged to wear surgical masks while attending Mass. Fortunately, most of the members of the schola cantorum agree to take off the masks when we sing. In case you are curious, this Sunday was the second day of Chinese New Year, which is why there are some traditional Chinese decorations in the church.
Please pray for those who are infected by the new disease and all those in the medical field bravely fighting against it. St. Roch, patron saint against the plague, pray for us!
