The following comes from the New York Daily News:
OPE Francis welcomed his retired predecessor back to the Vatican as Benedict XVI arrived by helicopter Thursday at his new home — right next door.
The emeritus pope, who stepped down Feb. 28, will take up residence in a converted four-story monastery off the Vatican gardens — a 57-acre stretch surrounded by stone walls.
Benedict and Pope Francis prayed together in a chapel adjoining the retirement home on the first day of their unprecedented arrangement: A retired pontiff living alongside the reigning pope.
